I didn’t know Tyrone Hill was once a Wolverine…

Somewhere Adam Morrison learns that he is not on the Top 50 list…..
What, no Len Bias?
I doubt this even needs to be stated, but Durant at #2 overall?!@?!?!?! After only one year. The guy couldn’t even lead his team far into the tournament. By this standard, shouldn’t Melo be higher? Or are they saying that Melo’s team was that much better than Texas last year and Melo was less (perhaps far less) valuable.
There are a billion things wrong with the list. Durant at #2 is just one of them. Like I said, there’s no Len Bias. And another glaring omission is the fact that there’s no Lew Alcindor. He should not only be on the list, but he should probably be #1 over MJ.
I’m a Duke hater and I’m sorry, there’s not enough representation from them and who they’ve chosen are the wrong guys… you want college guys or did you want guys that turned out to be good pro’s? What’s the reasoning here? Also there is waaaaay too much representation from Ga Tech. Only one kid from Indiana?
As my man MBP can tell you, I specialize in college hoops, especially 90′s hoops. How is Camby not on this list? He won all 5 major player of year awards over TIM DUNCAN! But somehow Randy Livingston is on list, who couldnt stay on the court? Glen Robinson might have been best forward since Bird when he was at Purdue. This is the worst ranking ever!
My blood is boiling. Laron Profit? And you know, no where is Jordan the best college player of all time. No Ewing? DeMarr Johnson was a better college player than Jalen Rose? Really? Bill Walton? Ughhh.
I actually thought Laron Profit being on there was a joke. But after seeing him, I was expecting to see Keith Booth as an honorable mention. Can Exree Hipp get some love?
Apparently if you wore a Georgia Tech uniform you are confused with 60′s UCLA teams.
This list is really stupid. Pete Maravich at #41? Dude averaged 45 ppg at LSU!
Jerry Lucas
Just throwing another name in…
Wow. Brutal, just brutal. One more glaring omission to the growing list: Ralph Sampson. One of only two male players selected national college player of the year 3 times (Bill Walton was the other) and picked #1 overall in the 1983 NBA draft.
Is there a chance that GameSpot fucked up and Laron Profit is really Juan Dixon? Do they have real names in the game for these players? I wonder if the editor just tried to figure out who’s who, based on position, school and number. They were both #3 at Maryland, so perhaps whoever created this list forgot about Juan. Think about it, they Madden doesn’t even use the real names for the players on their throwback teams, so how can March Madness get non-active players (like Pete Maravich) licensed?
Anyways, even if that is Juan Dixon, this is a TERRIBLE list.
Yeah, the guy who made this list is fucking stupid, he just guessed on the names. See, for instance, Kevin JOHNSON is listed as Kevin JACKSON. What a fucking idiot. Laron Profit, LOL.
this is the dumbest thing i have ever seen in my life…. other than mj none of these are even close.
no JJ Redick! I am appalled! If you have Christian Laettner and Art Heyman on there you got to have the #4.. I can see Dunleavy but gosh
Joakim Noah? Are you serious?
Alando Tucker from Wisconsin had a much better career than Joakim Noah, who could have been the 3rd best player on his team from Florida. Horford, Brewer, then Noah…this is a ridiculous list.
Joakim Noah isn’t in the top 500!!! I have a question, where is Grant Hill?
Note that everyone on this list played within the past 20 years. How about some love for Clyde Lovellette, Kansas Jayhawks, who in 1952 became the only player in history to lead his team to the NCAA championship and lead the nation in scoring (28.4 ppg). That’s pre 3-point shot, unlike this worthless list. Here’s to kickin’ it old school.
David Thompson was the best if you don’t think so ask Bill Walton
pretty cool but i want to see top 25 high school players or something. that would be pretty cool huh????
wheres david west?
So you have a picture of Chris Webber, but no Chris Webber? C-Webb shits piles of talent that are taller than Joakim Noah
