I'm shocked our redzone offense is ranked that high.
According to Football Outsiders and DVOA, 11 of the AFC's 16 teams are in the top half of the NFL, meaning the AFC is much stronger than the NFC. Confirms my suspicions.
25th in red zone rushing, yet BA always runs on first down inside the 10.
i was shocked against the Bengals when they actually called a play action pass on first down. It did get batted down and almost intercepted, but there was a receiver wide open in the endzone. NOBODY expected them to pass on first down. They need to try it more.
I'd like to see more plays like the one the Bengals scored on us with. Load up in a 3 TE set.
Redman, Heath, Spaeth, and D. Johnson all have the ability to sneak out and catch the ball on a play action.
We could even add Keisel to that possible formation. That would certainly distract the defense, a la Mike Vrable on the Pats.
If Keisel was more robust, I would get on board with this, but dude is constantly going on the IR, can't risk him going down for the season to put him in on a GL formation, especially since he will probably just end up blocking for some stupid counter or HB dive.

And to cap it all off, to have the worst of all options at RB back there, at least redman or Mendy wouldn't have been tossed like a rag dolll.

How do we come out so flat to give up a touchdown on the opening kickoff? Knowing we win the division with a win at home and we do what we did. Coach T should be on the ASS of ever special team member. And the play calling SUCKED as usual.
