Vikings have a great chance to go to the Super Bowl. I'd love to see them there. Maybe they have a bit better chance at doing so than the Steelers due to the Colts/Broncos/Pats all being in the AFC but to say that Minnesota has more talent than PIT is a stretch.

Vikings have more talent at DL and RB. Nowhere else.

Stupid sequence. It is puzzling coaching decisions like this why Viking fans wanted Childress fired and Tomlin promoted to head coach prior to him taking the Steeler job. This Viking team is at this point probably somewhat a little more talented than the Steeler team but coaching will continue to be the weak link that must be overcome.

This would make an interesting replay as Sapp was completely airborne prior to Rothlisberger being out of bounds. Don't think there is much a person can do to stop at that point. Pretty tick y tack as Rothlisberger tripped on the sideline and that was more than likely what brought the flag. Sapp should have just conceded the qb running out of bounds but he has never won any awards for football smarts that's for sure

Not much to analyze. Gay got DEMOLISHED. If this was the NBA he'd end up on a poster somewhere. AD is a beast, it was a great play. AP is also 3 inches taller and 30lbs bigger than Gay. He better run over a DB in a head-to-head collision.

Too bad that hit wasn't worth 11 points….Vikings would have won.

talking about jacked up, did you see William Gay get OWNED by AD??? WoW! I've never seen an offensive player attack a defender like that. To make matters worse, AD stepped on before he sprinted down the sideline. Where's that highlight?

He should have taken a knee, and I said it during the game too. That is what Favre gets. It would have been ironic if Silverback jacked up his shoulder on that sack. The entire Viking team came in with a bad attitude. From the hit on Ben out of bounds, Jared Allen's reaction to that hit, AD's crybaby look at the end of the game and Favre's little hijinks on the last play. He deserved to be jacked up.

That play should have never happened. The Vikings called time out with 4 sedonds on the clock and down two scores. What were they trying to accomplish? I'll tell you: to pad Favre's statistics while in the red zone.

Harrison had a right to be upset. Because it's HIS defensive statistics that are effected if Favre gets a meaningless TD pass on the last play of the game. If you notice the defense played 110% on that play.

If Favre had been hurt on that play, you don't think Childress comes under fire for running a meaningless play?

I'm surprised the whole sequence at the end of the game didn't come under more fire from the media.

I just looked. I think RIGHT NOW, I gotta give it to Darren Sharper. His team looks like the best in the NFL and he has 6 picks for 3 touchdowns right now. Along with 20 tackles and a half a sack.

I'd put Harrison #2.

I don't know Dagger, seemed more to me like Heath had his route cut off and his momentum and weight simply overpowered the defender. I can't find a clip anywhere and they only showed the one replay during the telecast. I'd like another look. Seems natural to me that he'd extend his arms to protect himself during the subsequent contact.

He was not intimidated, but it was typical James Harrison to get "offended" or pissed off at somebody trying to help out their qb and get him off the ground.

1. Holding on the return–absolutely should have seen a flag on that return.

2. Tripping on Vikings to call a TD back–rough call. I guess it could have gone either way but he really didn't extend his legs in the air that high.

3. The call on Heath looked legit. He extended his arms and seemed to ram his head/body into the defender. If the offense is allowed to do that on the goalline it would be an automatic TD 100 times out of 100….unless Limas Sweed is the intended target.

I love James, but it didn't look like Sullivan was all that intimidated. Hopefully PGH will put together a nice breakdown for all the whiner Vikes fans complaining about the officials. Get some good stills of the multiple un-called holds during the Harvin return and a nice analysis of the bogus call on Heath Miller that took a Steelers TD off the board.
