We’re lurking in 2nd place right now after going 9-7 last week, maybe too soon to make our move for the #1 spot but we’ll see if we can create some separation. As a reminder, here are the competitors:

-Miami has to travel across the country to face an underrated Arizona team

-Chicago might not have enough offense to hang with Carolina but we’ll say D beats O here
TEN @ CIN (-1.5)
-Bengals will find their offensive groove, Kerry Collins will look good at QB but Bungles win
GB (-3) @ DET
-Detroit disappoints us every season, Pakcers looked solid on Monday night
BAL @ HOU (-4.5)
-Steelers made Houston look worse than they are, Baltimore has no offense
IND (-2) @ MIN
-Colts find their offense and steamroll the Vikings
BUF @ JAX (-6)
-I guess we’ll hop aboard the Buffalo bandwagon, Jacksonville is banged up and injured
OAK @ KC (-4)
-We’ll go with the Chiefs here since Oakland looked like a high school team on Monday
NYG (-8.5) @ STL
-Giants looked very good on Thursday and the Rams might be the worst team in the NFL
NE @ NYJ (-2)
-Something tells me Cassel is going to be OK. Patriots are underdogs. Wow. Pats win, barely
PIT (-6) @ CLE
-Big line here but the Steelers have all the tools needed to dismantle the Cleveland defense
SD (-2.5) @ DEN
-Should be a great game to watch, Cutler and the Broncos beat up on OAK, not sure if that means anything
SF @ SEA (-8)
-The spread here scares me away from SEA, Mike Martz gets the Offense rolling and RB Gore has a big day
ATL @ TB (-8)
-Huge spread once again but I like Tampa for some reason, I don’t see RB Turner have 200+ yards again
NO @ WAS (even)
-Saints offnese will prove too much for the Skins to handle
PHI @ DAL (-6.5)
-Dallas just has too many weapons on both sides of the ball (tiebreaker: total points = 43)
