its funny hearing everyone talk about this, its only ratings they will be changed after the first 4 games. Probly only half of u actually watch football or know what the players do on the field that makes them the rating that they are even tho some are overated.
Wow Flacco and Ryan got the shaft…would agree Ray Lewis is overrated but, i’m guessing the rest of the Ravens team is underrated(Mason,Running backs/fullbacks)so it should even out

Calvin Johnson hasnt done shit? are you actually a retard or do you just not follow sports? CJ was tied for first in TD catches, 5th most rec yards, 2nd in receptions over 20 yrds. Oh yea and he did this with 3 different QBs on an 0-16 team.. His rating should be at least 96, a 92 is pathetic.

i agree. harrison won defensive player of the year and he isnt up there? also FWP was snubbed out of his speed. he is still as fast as any RB in the league but he only has 95 speed rating? thats gay. i understand them lowering his overall but his speed? thats just not right
People to me this years edition of Madden is ridiculous!!! How can people say this is their best edition to date? The college game has way more features and commentary is a whole lot better. These ratings are terrible!!! They give backup players ratings someone coming out of high school should have. I understand they want you to see the difference in player abilities, but EA could have done a better job of wanting you to see that. I mean right now, I’m 16W-7L but I won’t be probably playing it too much longer. I’m going back to the college game. Get it together EA!!!

ray lewis is great he is the leader of one of the best defences in the leage if anything he needs to be higher. and your telling me that calvin johnsen andre johnsen brandon marshell are better then terrell owens he scored 14 tds in 08 and in some games i counted 4 guys in man 2 man on him so id but him ad least 96 and guys weresjoe flacco hes one of the best young qbs in the leage he at least deserves 91
romo has top notch accuracy look at his comp rating and qb rating….much better qb than roethlisbugger.
Manning is a little overrated (should be a 95 or 96) and Calvin Johnson is disgustingly underrated (should be at LEAST a 94, more like a 96 IMO). If you disagree, then you probably don't know shit about football.
Brady should b higher than manning because Harrison and Wayne made him better as Brady had only Troy Brown and Deion Branch
even if brady sat out 2 full seasons he would still be among the top 2 or even 3 best QBs in the league and the reason why eli isnt on the list is because he is abosolutely one of the worst QBs in the entire league, the only reason he won a super bowl was bc of his O and D line and a lucky catch by a shitty reciever who just got cut..and everyone on here is hating on tim brady just like everyone hates derek jeter…because they are one of the best at their position and you only wish they were on your team
and yes even though ima huge fan, ray lewis is way over rated, hes getting old and slow, and ed reed is the reason the ravens D is so nasty bc teams know they cant throw the ball so they have to run up the gut, padding rays stats

just wanna talk about my team the eagles. Donovan mcnabb is so friecking good. all of our fans for some reason every year have this period whgere they think he sucks.westbrook might be a little better than a 94 and desean jackson is an 81 thats bull. hes such a great player with a great future jason peters is so good probably more like 97 than a 95. trent cole is also great he puts up great numbers in the first half off the year. sure he fades in the second half cuz hes so small butt he deserves better than a 91. don't get me started on stewie bradley. is it all of the sudden normal for all pros to be 77s
the one biased comment i'll make is i truly think madden hates the niners. they are my team and i don't think they're great or anything, im a realistic fan, they just seem to be skimped every year. also, they have crabtree rated better than all of the other receivers, come on.
ive seen a lot of people complain about Ray Lewis being overrated, no hes not. he is a step slower than he was a couple years ago but he is maybe the smartest defensive player in the game, and his leadership qualities also have a huge impact on his entire defense. he deserves to be where he is.
anyone that thinks peyton or brady are overrated must not read or watch enough football. if those two and brees were all 99's i think it would still be fair. those guys are fantastic.
Tony Romo needs to get the FUCK out of the top 10 he sucks! Eli should be in there. He's not a crowd favorite outside of NY, and he's not one of my favorites, but he's got game. he's looking more and more like his brother every year- reads well, doesn't get sacked much. Rodgers and Ryan are probably close calls too but I don't think thats a huge mistake just something to note.
For the receivers, I don't think T.O. belongs in there anymore. I try to make top 10's all the time, i'm a football addict to say the least, and for that reason I know how hard it is to cut it down to 10 sometimes. Jennings, Colston, Ochocinco, and Ward are all guys that are tough to leave out, but its hard to choose who to replace still.
Brandon Jacobs and Thomas Jones should be removed. LT is way overrated. He is permanently banged up and hasnt really done 94 shit since his record breaking year. Sproles seems as good as him most of the time i watch the chargers. LT is still a good fanatasy rb cuz the chargers have a great overall offense and he's really good on the goal line, but he has dropped off, prob to the bottom of the top 10 or maybe even out. the most notable backs missing are MAURICE JONES-DREW (huge mistake), ronnie brown, chris johnson, matt forte, and marion barber.
