Snoop Dogg was at Ravens training camp yesterday to “watch the Ravens defense in person.” I’m not sure if any self-respecting Steeler fan would ever be caught dead voluntarily watching a Ravens training camp practice, but, whatever.
Snoop went out of his way to remind everyone in attendance that he is a HUGE Steeler fan but as a fan of the game, he respects the Baltimore Ravens and immensely enjoys watching the Steelers and Ravens go head-to-head.
Don’t get too upset at the picture above, remember what Snoop was seen wearing in Tampa this past Super Bowl. He was also mingling with Steeler players the entire weekend at pre and post Super Bowl parties.

Just another case of Snoop being able to get away with anything, because he is quite possibly the coolest man alive.
He is the classic Bandwagon fan.
I remember the days when he ran around in Raiders jerseys, then the Patriots, then the Steelers and now he’s wearing Ravens gear (see hat).
How many Steeler fans would ever do that? How many Raven fans would wear Steeler gear?
It’s one thing to be a football fan but to go to every team wearing team gear and getting VIP treatment like your a fan of said team is just wrong.
I hope Snoop stays away from Ashburn.
dont forget about the Chiefs jersey in his music video
Deadman is right, Snoop has always been a bandwagon fan. He sports pro gear based upon a team’s image and whether or not they’re winning. It’s no accident that the Steelers and Raiders have been two teams he’s supported most. Once Al Davis dies and the Raiders start winning again he’ll be back to wearing Raiders gear. He’s from LA, and has no real emotional attachment to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
And I know of some Steelers fans who have gone to Ravens camp decked out in black & gold.
yeah I saw this nugget yesterday on the NFL Network and I must say, I was shocked.
That same shocking feeling I got when I saw Lendal White stomping on the terrible towel..Well, Mr White well learn just like TJ, You Don’t Mess the Towel..Right TJ, Who Dey, We Dey..Back to Snoop Dogg, I remember Dre and the rest of the NWA family. Well Fredo, You Don’t Go Against the Family!..
Somebody please send him that T-shirt that Suggs was wearing at training camp along with a picture of the 43 SB Bling and a note saying “Diamonds are a girls bestfriend” player. U Sell-out
First off, wearing a Raiders jersey in LA has nothing to do with being a fan of the team. He is a celebrity, the same people who show up at Yankees-RedSox games to show what big fans of NY they are. Take it as you like, but this really isn’t a big deal, I am sure we have all seen Jim Brown in a movie.
By the way, I have to give this website some LOVE,
because This WEBSITE is the ONLY one who printed
this story.I lefted comments on Steelers Today and Steelers Depot, Profootball Talk, Scores Report, NFL Fanhouse and NFL from the Sidelines and your’s is the only one that said anything about this Fake-@## pimp want-to-be..Personally I
was surprise to see Sweet Sugar Ray suck-up to this a x-Steeler fan known as Snoop Dogg.
SteelMohawk,
Ok this isn’t a Big Deal when you come to think about it with everything else thats going on in the world. You’re right, But he claims to be the Number One Steelers fan and he JUMP THE SHARK just to sell more tickets for his concert..
That’s a SELL-OUT..
Would U sell out your team?
No, I wouldn’t, but I am also not going on publicity tours, where I have to do or say anything. I mean he isn’t the type of Steelers fan to sit out in Hines Field, freezing and getting blitzed with the fans, he is either on the sidelines or in a luxury box, trying to get his face on TV. He is a rapper, and a celebrity, and somewhere far down the list he might be a Steelers fan. I don’t care about him, you, or anyone else selling out, its not going to change my loyalty to this team.
Snoop is like a “Face” wrestler…..
he shows up in whatever town he’s in sporting that teams football jersey and everybody not aware that he did the same thing is happy and can say….Snoop’s like me he roots for (insert team here).
The NFL must love it that a celeberty is out there sporting merchandise.
Just don’t go in there thinking he’s a fan of your team.
If anything Snoop is a big fan of the NFL and not any one team who he sports a jersey.
SteelMowak,
I understand what your saying about his status and lifestyle. But most of us Steelers fan do NOT
live that way. Most of us only have one team jersey, or hat or coat some of us have a ATM debit card with our team logo. Too some it is their lifestle.. A Steeler Fan.
I not trying to make it a Big deal but some of us
it is.
Yeah this guy can do whatever he wants, say what
ever he wants and be on TV smoking WEED with Kat Williams if he wants.
But to me since this story broke out, to me He’s no longer a Steeler Fan…
By the way, Here’s something for you, Did Larry Foote say,”That the Lions training camp was more physical than the Steelers”!
Don’t we play the Lions this year?
Was Larry the RUN Stuffing ILB?
Where’s a question that time will answer.
Which RB will rush for more yards in that game?
A. Parker
B. Mendenhall
C. Moore
D. Summers (my surprise pick #1)
E. Logan (RB/WR/ST) (surprise pick #2)
F. Any Lions RB (if you can name them)
@ NotJust
A: Matt Stafford- he’ll be running the entire game to avoid the Steelers defense. I mean have you seen the Lions O-line?
The Steelers have a tradition of tough defense and physicality. They don’t need to prove anything after just winning the SB. Tomlin ran a tough camp in his 1st year to show ppl he was the boss and to take over.
The Lions are trying to establish tough/physical football and are trying to change the culture of that organization. They NEED to have a hard/tough camp to get a new personality for that football team.
If I was coaching the Lions I’d give them very few days off, make them wear full pads almost all the time, and seek to change the culture of the franchise; basically turning that group of guys into a smashmouth team. Only way to get that is to be hard on them. Foote should have expected a tough camp.
Ok so you’re saying that Larry is just selling “wolf tickets!”
Trying to pump himself up and the rest of that team that was 0-16…
I see your point.
But still, Parker/Mendenhall/Summers/Moore meeting Foote in the hole. Somebody is going to have a long smashmouth day.
Correct me if I’m wrong but does Timmons remind you of K Bell in his rookie season as far as his speed and hard-hitting play?
Question,
Whose next to be resign by the Steelers?
Take your bets!! Give a name and a reason why he would be resign.
Mine, Casey Hampton, NO Big true NT taken in this years draft (only the Boston twins would fit their needs). Those types of guys are hard to find to play NT for the Steelers 3-4 D. Plus Casey may come the cheap but Keisel would come cheaper if the Steelers switchs to some from of 4-3 with Farrior maybe leaving in 2010/2011.
give me your thoughts
I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don’t know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.

Larry is shooting his mouth off. McHugh said that the whole Lions organization was a joke, and it was “refreshing” to be with an organization focused on winning.
Yeah but Larry should know better to give out bulletin material to the team that was going to release him anyway. Personally, The Lions should of sign Derrick Brooks over Foote.
